Welcome to the Church of the Living God

Welcome to the Church of Living God "Home on the Web."  Our conference was incorporated under the laws of the state of North Carolina and the United States of America on August 14, 1917.  Our charter was renewed and amended on December 1, 1964.

As commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ in St. Mark 16:15, it is our passion to preach the full gospel to all the world, advocating Biblical doctrines, with signs following for the deliverance of all mankind from sin, sickness, and oppressing circumstances.

The vision of John III Conference Center was birthed into the heart of our current General Overseer, Bishop Donnie Robinette. With the vision, God also gave the name, John III.

First and foremost, John III is dedicated to the Holy Trinity: God, the Father, His Son and our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, and our ever-abiding Comforter, the Holy Ghost.

The name, John III, was also inspired in honor of the former General Overseers of the Church of the Living God.  Bishop John Gilbert, founder of the conference, Bishop John Cranfill and Bishop John Savage. 

This is a very exciting time for us as a conference.  The construction of our new National Headquarters and General Office is complete and now operational to God be the Glory! Our facility is located in the picturesque foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, approximately 15 minutes northwest of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

We are very excited to announce our most recent partnership with the Church of God International, located in Cleveland, Tennessee.  This timely partnership directly links our Departments with those of the Church of God.  These links provide our Conference with the many necessary TOOLS for the success of any 21st Century ministry.  We encourage you to visit the home page and various departments of the Church of God as often as you visit us by accessing their website via this convenient link:
