History of The Church of the Living God
Our conference was founded by Bishop John Gilbert in August 1917 and for three decades this humble man of God served as the General Overseer of the conference.
The Church of the Living God was incorporated under the laws of the state of North Carolina and the United States of America on August 14, 1917. Our charter was renewed and amended on December 1, 1964.
As commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ in St. Mark 16:15, it is our passion to preach the full gospel to all the world, advocating Biblical doctrines, with signs following for the deliverance of all mankind from sin, sickness, and oppressing circumstances. |
